An official website for Toricon!!! triple complex Live-action Movie now host a trailer and additional info about the Navigate DVDs.

“Ace! King! Jack! We are invincible!”

“Triple complex” is something like “Mission Impossible” x 3 or like “Charlie’s Angels” with hot-guys ^^.

Cast (doh, teh Tenimyu dorksboys are everywhere ^^):

?Shindou Gaku as Ace
?Minami Keisuke as King
?Yagami Ren as Jack

The three of them also will sing the theme song : beside on you??????????????? (sorry, don’t know what it means ^^’)

The Movie hits theaters on February 9th, 2008 ^^

Also, the manga version by mangaka Nekota Yonezou starts serialization in Volume 5 of comic SYLPH, and a sample of it can be seen here .

EDIT: A Drama CD is on the way too (maybe we can hope for an anime soon ^^).
The cast is: Koji Yusa as Ace, Taniyama Kishou as King & Mamoru Miyano as Jack.

Aquarian Age Live-Action Movie news

The live-action movie version of Aquarian Age finally was announced in a press conference, which was held in Akihabara UD-X Gallery on 17th December. The actors, as well as director attended to the conference. You can watch a five minutes of it << here >>.

The Movie is based on the famous trading card game, but the plot is adapted from a Juvenile Orion manga (which is actually a spin-off of the original game).

Speed Racer Movie Website launched

Warner Bros has launched a preview website for the 2008 Speed Racer movie, which Andy and Larry Wachowski starts shooting this month.

The site currently includes a synopsis of this adaptation of Tatsuo Yoshida’s Mach GoGoGo car-racing anime series, the biographies of 12 actors and producer Joel Silver, and media from the movie’s May 31 Berlin press conference.

Tonari no 801-chan Otaku Love Comedy manga sequel

Manga blogger Ajiko Kojima will release another volume of the Tonari no 801-chan love comedy in the beginning of August. The 4-panel manga features a 28-year-old male otaku whose girlfriend is a fujoshi (otaku of boys-love stories ^^’. The “801” name is a wordplay on “yaoi/BL”)

On September 5, Pony Canyon and Tornado Film will release a live-action DVD starring K?ji Seto (The Prince of Tennis musicals; Happy Boys) as the hapless “Chibetto-san” and S? Hirasawa as the titular girlfriend. Other cast will feature: Kotaroh Yanagi (Special appearance), Toru Baba, Kawakubo Yuuki /they’re all from a TeniPuri musicals ^_/

Kurosagi becomes movie~!

Yeah~! The Black swindler is baaack~!!

Popular manga based “Kurosagi” drama series that aired on TBS last spring will become a movie.

Tomohisa Yamashita and several others, including Maki Horikita and Yui Ichikawa, will reprise their roles from the drama. This is Yamashita’s first starring role in a movie! Yasuharu Ishii has been named as director, and the film is slated for release next spring.
