Brief glimpse of new CG movie version of Blame!

A project to create a film based on the Tsutomu Nihei’s manga BLAME! was announced at the Tokyo International Anime Fair (TAF).
In 2002, a web anime (ONA) based on the series was released, and now a full 3D CG animation is being planned.

One of the companies involved with the project is Micott and Basara, who worked on the CG anime in the anime motion picture Appleseed. The marketing campaign for the project begins this summer with sales of figurines and a short DVD. Many other companies are involved in making the film, including MTV trainsurfer and Production I.G, who will be working on backgrounds for the film.
